The HeyCal API (accounts, synced journal, meal photos and meal analysis, at api.heycal.app) runs on a server operated by the publisher and rented from: Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany (https://www.hetzner.com), server located in Falkenstein (Germany). The database is hosted by MongoDB, Inc. (MongoDB Atlas), on Amazon Web Services servers in Paris (France). Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The website, the app, the HeyCal name, logo, text, visuals, design and code are protected by intellectual property law and belong to ROCKET SOCIAL or its licensors. Any reproduction, representation or adaptation, in whole or in part, without prior written permission is prohibited, except where the law allows it.

Apple, the Apple logo, iPhone, App Store and Apple Health are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. Google Play and Health Connect are trademarks of Google LLC.

Source of nutrition data

The nutrition values used by HeyCal come from the Table de composition nutritionnelle des aliments Ciqual 2025, ANSES, https://doi.org/10.57745/RDMHWY, Licence Ouverte / Etalab 2.0 (French food composition table, Open Licence 2.0).

HeyCal adapts these values, in particular by recalculating them for the estimated portion of each food. These adaptations are the sole responsibility of ROCKET SOCIAL and do not engage ANSES.
